Borrowing Policy

Library Card
Issued to each member
Must be presented to borrow materials, to access the Public Access Computers, and to use the Microfilm Reader/Scanner
A Total of 30 items may be borrowed
18 Books – 2 weeks
6 Magazines – 1 week
3 DVD – 1 week  *$3.00 fee per DVD rental
3 CD-Audio Books – 2 weeks
Visually/Physically impaired members may borrow up to 6 CD-Audio Books
*CD-Audio Books may be borrowed at no charge

Renewals
Items on loan may be renewed once
Items on reserve cannot be renewed
The library program does not allow the renewal of overdue items, or items with fines

Reserves

Items in the collection, but not available at the time, can be placed on reserve
Patrons will be phoned or notified by email or text when the item is available
A charge may be levied for items not picked up without specific and alternate arrangements having been made

Overdue Charges

Fines levied only for those days when the library is open

Charges:

Print Items and Talking Books – Adult & Young Adult
.25 cents/day
DVDs – Adult & Young Adult
.25 cents/day
CD-Audio Books – Adult & Young Adult
.25 cents/day

*Note: Fines are not levied on any items that have Junior or Junior Primary designation

Lost / Damaged Items
If borrowed items are lost or damaged by the patron, the patron may be responsible for reimbursing the library for the value of the item(s) at the time of purchase
