- Librarian is responsible for the selections of materials and for keeping the collection
current and maintained
- Recommendations of materials to purchase are welcome
- Specialized material of limited community interest, or supplementing materials for
students will not necessarily be purchased in order to avoid unnecessary duplication
in subject areas which are the special perogative of other community services
